After their spaceship crashes on the alien planet, they are stalked and hunted by a creature far more advanced than anything they have ever encountered b...。同ドラマは水中の捜査に特化した架空の組織「DCU（Deep Crime Unit）」を舞台にしたオリジナルドラマ。ドラマの舞台となるのは、海上保安庁に新設されたDCUという水中事件や事故の捜査を行うスペシャリスト集団。DCUはDeep Crime Unit（潜水特殊捜査隊）の略称で、彼らの使命は、従来の海上水域だけでなく警察の捜査では困難な「危険極まりない日本全国の河川や湖」など、あらゆる水中に潜り隠された証拠を探し事件を解決する。“水中未解決事件を解明すること”が、彼らのミッションだ。。
