根据徐淦生电影剧本《白家雀》改编清末，古都北京有个叫桂山破落大户以房产抵押得到一只羽毛全白的"白家雀"，并由此引发出一连串曲折动人的故事。大妞、二妞姐妹因“白家雀之死”被骗进王爷府，结果大妞被王爷奸污后含恨而死；二妞不畏强暴，奋力反抗。最后在朋友们的帮助下，她逃出王爷府，奔向心目中向往的没有罪恶、充满善良自由的地方。 全剧提示了清朝末年政府欺软怕强、软弱无能、欺压百姓的腐败景象，展示了一批爱国志士和普通百姓奋起反抗，为自由抗争的精神。 客串：李金斗、姜昆、大山等。In the town of Thiers, summer of 1976, teachers and parents give their children skills, love, and attention.
