But old wounds and resentments are re-ignited when the wife’s twin sister pays a visit.。西暦2042年、地球上では突如現れた未知の巨大生物「擬態獣」と、世界各国で開発されていた巨大ロボット達との戦いが繰り広げられていた。 日本のスーパーロボット「ゴーダンナー」のパイロット・猿渡ゴオは後に「巨神戦争」と呼ばれるボス擬態獣との決戦において、パートナーであり恋人でもあったミラ・アッカーマンを失ってしまう。だが、ゴオはそれと引き換えに、1人の少女の命を救っていた。その少女の名は、葵杏奈。 辛くも人類は戦いに勝利し、5年の歳月が流れた。しかし、世界各地ではまだ擬態獣の亜種が生き残っており、スーパーロボット達との戦いは続いていた。17歳の高校生となった杏奈はゴオと再会して恋に落ち、いつしか2人は結婚を決意する。だが結婚式当日、日本に擬態獣が出現。ゴオは式を途中で中断し、ゴーダンナーで出撃する。 しかし、杏奈はただ夫の帰りを待っているだけの女の子では...。
