With a sinister threat looming, the eight are left with no choice but to complete a series of 'games' created ...。农村少年孔臭蛋的父母不幸死于一场事故，无依无靠的他在政府的帮助下进入SOS儿童村。臭蛋的新妈妈（沈丹萍饰）和蔼可亲，来自不同家庭却有着同样身世的兄弟姐妹也都友好热情。不过，臭蛋始终无法融入这个大家庭里，妹妹“玻璃美人”（蒋小涵饰）高傲自负，时常和他发生口角，此外刻薄的班主任也总是找他的麻烦。臭蛋倍感孤独，时刻想要逃离这个家。 妈妈含辛茹苦，为了这群可怜的孩子们牺牲了个人幸福，单身警察（刘威饰）常常关照母子一家的生活，两人互有感觉，却不能迈出那一步。孩子们各有各的苦恼和问题，妈妈渐渐感到力不从心，想要放弃，终究无法拒绝孩子们声声的呼唤……。
