蓝珈是苗疆圣女候选人，为了初恋秦时聿放弃了圣女之位，跟随他离开苗寨。数年后，秦时聿却贪恋小三苏可儿的温柔，并且因为苗疆圣女无法产子的原因，接受了母亲的提议，让苏可儿怀上了孩子。。Speedy" loses his job as a soda-jerk, then spends the day with his girl at Coney Island. He then becomes a cab driver and delivers Babe Ruth to Yankee Stadium, where he stays to see the game. When the railroad tries to run the last horse-drawn trolley (operated by his girl's grandfather) out of business, "Speedy" organizes the neighborhood oldtimers to thwart their scheme.。
